Q: When I enter my student username or password I get an “INVALID STUDENT ID” error message. What should I do?
A: Confirm that you are entering the same student ID that is on file with your school/institution. Once you’ve confirmed that you are entering the correct information, please complete and submit a trouble ticket. Please be sure to include your name, email address, the course(s) you are taking, the location of the course(s), and the name(s) of your instructor(s).
Q: What if one or more of my courses is not on the list, the system lists a course that I dropped, or a course is listed that I have never taken?
A: Please do not evaluate a dropped course and do not evaluate a course that you’ve never taken. If there is a course not listed, or a course listed you are not taking please click the link below.
Q: The wrong instructor is listed for the course I am evaluating.
A: Complete the evaluation, and note the name of the correct instructor in one of the text survey questions. Please place three asterisks (***) in the comment, so that it will be recognized as an incorrect instructor.
Q: What if I need to redo my evaluation, because I evaluated the wrong course or the wrong instructor.
A: Please click the link below and give us more details about the mistake you’ve made. We may need to reset the evaluation.
Q: What should I do if I cannot complete the evaluation, because I got stuck on one of the pages and could not go back or continue no matter what I clicked on?
A: This is more than likely happening because you do not have "cookies" or JavaScript enabled in your web browser. To see how to enable JavaScript, go to http://support.microsoft.com/gp/howtoscript. To make sure cookies are enabled, see http://www.google.com/cookies.html.
Q: Can my instructor see my results?
A: No. All student responses to evaluations are completely anonymous (unless you identify yourself within the comment boxes). Your name and email address are not saved anywhere and cannot be seen by instructors or administrators.
Q: How will you use my name and email address?
A: The evaluation system uses your email address to send you evaluation announcements and reminders. Your full name is used to validate your registration in the course you are evaluating. Your name and email address are not gathered in the evaluation, but stored in a separate database, and therefore, cannot be associated with the ratings or comments you make.
Q: Can I complete an evaluation after the closing date for the survey has passed?
A: No. We cannot re-open an evaluation once it has been closed.
Q: What should I do if I have questions unrelated to instructor evaluations?
A: Contact your instructor or your school/institution.
